I was VERY surprised the Mavic mini is microUSB for the drone itself, charger, and controller. The only reason I could think of why they did that was that the circuitry required would push it over the 249g limit....I have no idea if that's the case.

I’ve noticed something similar with my Oneplus 5. If you want to use the dash charger at full power(4amps). You have to use the cable it came with which has red connectors. No other cable I’ve tried with the dash charger will get you full power though they will still charge the phone at a trickle speed...better than…
