I quit online gaming way back when Battlefield 2142 was a thing. I don’t want to deal with spoiled brats or annoying ass dudes with no life outside of gaming. I game to relax, and to relax means I’m going to play at my pace in sweet isolation.

I’m having a really hard time giving a single damn about movie theaters. The world is a very different place than it was in the 1940s (duh). With the option of viewing at home with an experience that rivals that of a theater without the insane prices prices, why would anyone even bother?

I almost never go to shows anymore. With all the fees it just isn't worth it.

I’m seeing fewer and fewer macs being used by professionals and a lot more windows machines gracing the desks of creatives. Our design group is all windows, sans our laptops, which mostly just get used for taking notes in meetings these days.

Not ugly. Just a complete departure from what we recognize as being a “truck”. It basically takes all the established design ideas for vehicles and gives them the middle finger.

And this is where?

I love this. Finally something radically different, something that looks like we are living in 2020. I would absolutely daily the living shit out of one of these.

I work on a dev team that is all MacBook Pro based other than the ridiculous beastly PC desktops us Designers and Artists get. My issued laptop is a 2015 MacBook and is pretty decent. I got offered an upgrade but I despise that touch bar so I declined. In the last 4 month we’ve had 5 of the newer MacBooks fail on us.

I’m sure most people’s sole interaction with Cortana was turning it off. That's all I did with it.

I love this thing but it’s crack pipe all the way at that price. You can almost buy a new 2019 base Jetta at that price.

As a guy who was forced to take a greyhound through Texas Arizona and New Mexico in the 90s I can tell you not only has greyhound always sucked its also a haven for criminals on the run. My bus was raided by the feds twice!

Sweet! I almost never see Probes anymore let alone the turbo GTs from the first gen. I’m guessing most of those exploded long ago. Great to hear there’s a few good examples still around!

I was born in 1980 so I’m kinda a Gen X/millennial.

My mom drove her cassette player equipped 2004 Camry until a month ago when it was hit and totalled by a Model S (she’s fine).

I thought a Corvette was the car targeted specifically at boomers.

You do you David. You do you.

Got to see it in the 80s as a kid when it was still down in SoCal. Was thoroughly impressed.

Poor Probe GT. I had one of those for my first car and sold it 20 years ago...Shit, I really hope that isn’t mine.

Ah memories. I used to rummage through flea markets to find the worst bootleg systems I could. I maybe bought 2 or 3 over a few years and never paid more than 10-20 bucks.

I’ve seen one Supra while commuting in the afternoon on 880 in Milpitas.
