I would own a Crosstrek right now if it wasn’t such a slug. It ticks every single box except “reasonably fun to drive”. I don’t expect rally car performance but I do expect to be able to merge onto a freeway without having to wonder if the semitruck a quarter mile back is going to run me over before I get to 65mph.

I’ve had a K&N in my 2000 jeep XJ for 15 or so years now. I just service it every other year or so and it’s given me zero issues. I haven’t noticed any dirt build up in the throttle body or anywhere else.

Old people like it because it’s huge inside and really easy to get in and out of and very reasonably priced. At their age they’re long past giving any crap about it being a supposed young persons car.

I have a friend who works in a major car company's infotainment department. Basically all the hardware needs to be certified for use in an automobile and is several generations behind in terms of grunt. Also, these things need to interface with so many different pieces of hardware in the car that compromise after

Since when is the Madonna inn a "standard roadside motel"?

Well I'm glad I hung onto my 2000 XJ Sport! Seriously though, it's not like I'm going to sell it...

Yep. You would need to give it to me for free and then compensate me generously.

Gaming was a huge part of my life up till about 2013. That’s when I graduated from college (at the tender age of 33) and moved in with my then girlfriend now wife. These days with a career and a two month old I have almost no time for hobbies of any kind, gaming included. What little playing Imostly do is on my phone,

If I was going to Omaha or Milwaukee I'd be drinking too.

I want to know more about this video.

Everyone in my family called these “Elephant ears”. I grew up thinking that that was their actual name. Once our old truck got broken into through one of them and the person taking the report over the phone thought my mom was crazy when she kept calling them that. I have no idea who started it as all my grandparents

Thoughts and prayers.

In 2010 my father stumbled on an 88 Taurus with something like 10000 miles on it. Not quite the same as this, but when was the last time you saw an 88 anything (non collectable) with that kind of low mileage.

Omg. The top one is fucking amazing. I love the splashy neon pink 4x4

Beautiful truck. Stupid price.

3 months in a 15 passager van with a Ska band in 1999. We went all over the US and into Mexico a few times where we hooked up with a few. Mexican bands I’ve never been more stoned, drunk, tired and happy in my life.

Meh.

I know! I built 3 in my meeting this morning using nothing but a few postit notes, paper clips and the gum on my shoe!

It's feature creep in the game and software world. It is evil, and responsible for many late nights, missed dates and tears.

The first sentence in this article is complete bullshit. We know of more oil deposits now than at any point in history and won’t be running out any time soon, though it will be more expensive to access.
