Not a car. But I stumbled onto a clean, one owner, 1985 KLR600. It had been sitting since 1996 and still had all the original paperwork and title. Bike cleaned up to almost showroom condition!

If you live in California they are massive time savers as lane splitting is legal. I commute through the San Francisco Bay Area on the Hypermotard in my profile pic . On days when traffic is really really congested I can save 45minutes of commute time. Even on light traffic days I can shave 15 minutes.

One advantage of the west coast, rust free vehicles. My 2000 Cherokee looks brand spanking new underneath after a good undercarriage cleaning.

I would love one of these but only if it’s a stick. Also 180000 is just to much mileage on that car for that price.

Yeah that’s ridiculous. Willfully letting cars get damaged is shitty enough. There easily could have been a serious accident from this and that’s even worse.

I saw a few in the Alps. They were still loud as hell and each had a line of cars and motos a kilometer long behind them.

Yep. F Harley. The brand can fall into history for all I care. Their bikes already look like relics anyway.

My wife and I always wanted a VA camper van. Naive me thought I could find an old one that needed some work for a few thousand. I learned the error of my thinking almost immediately. Its like these people have no concept of how money works.

Developing software for iOS is annoying as hell. If I want some random person to try out a build I can’t easily just side load it onto their device like I can with an android. APK

I got it for my 13th birthday way back in 1993. At the time it was an amazing game, not quite Link to the Past amazing but still very impressive. I distinctly remember having to get used to the combat system and never really falling in love with it although never hating it either.

I used to work with this engine.

The company next to ours has one of those custom critical trucks at their loading dock everyday. They ship biotech stuff packed in dry ice.

I had a KTM 625cc thumper that put out 50ish horsepower. I’m sure it would just bolt right in....

2007 RAV4. My ex girlfriend bought one and I wanted to hate it soooo badly. Turns out the thing was actually fun to drive! Not a rocket ship by any means but still peppy and handled very well. It also did great on fire roads and light offroading. I’m a Jeep guy, but I have zero hate for 2007 RAv4s.

Oh god. Now I need to go watch the furby organ again to cleanse myself.

I had a deer run across a fire trail I was tearing down on a dirt bike. Missed the thing by inches, one of the scariest things that’s ever happened to me on a bike. I even got it on camera, but I uploaded it to a service that disappeared and lost it :(

I was in London not long after the stabbing spree. The police were all in groups and each one was armed with a sub machine gun. I turned a corner and almost walked into one of them. That was interesting!

I would daily that shitcan if an HOA gave me to much undeserved crap. I mean if it’s registered and on your driveway, I don’t think there’s much they could do.

Here’s the problem with this. In Germany (my wife is a citizen and we are there weeks every year) there is fantastic public transit to basically everywhere. Not so in the US. If you want to get around in the greater San Francisco Bay Area it is literally impossible with public transit in any timely fashion unless you

My life needed that.
