KLR 650. Ugly, forgettable, unkillable. Plus I can hide from the helis and planes in the woods with it.

The car thing is bad....but holy shit, aircraft and rockets!!??
The marketing team needs to be kept in check as well. I’ve had to cut 30% of a game before just so we could make some made up deadline that marketing pushed for and our boss didn’t push back. The game really suffered because of it. No one on the team liked what we released.
My first experience with a geo was seeing them on a stage at Disneyland for the parks 35th anniversary in 1990. I was ten.
Tell that to the guy I knew in Santa Barbara that got a DUI on his skateboard.
I’m glad this is far far away from me. I would probably try and snag it if it was local.
Growing up, my best friends parents had one of these. Great memories sitting in the back on the way to Disneyland.
The real fun is the amazing roads through the countryside. Earlier this year I was lucky enough to have an SLK at my disposal for a few weeks while visiting the Stuttgart area.
You don’t rely on word of mouth marketing when millions are on the line. Sure it has its place, but good luck getting any kind of investment or convincing your executives to greenlight a title if your only plan is to “make a kickass game that will sell itself”. You HAVE to market the shit out of a game. Otherwise…
Noooope. At any given time I need to have Unity, Maya, Photoshop, audacity and sometimes more open at the same time to get a single asset working in a game. There is no way in hell I can efficiently do that with one screen.
They work great in Germany.
Mercedes museum is awesome!
Checked/Cleaned all the grounds on my 85 klr600. It was having strange electrical problems that I guess aren’t so strange for a 32 year old motorcycle...not exactly a car I know, but it’s in the same spirit.
The Prius. If there’s a car going 55 in the fast lane it’s almost always a Prius. If there’s a car going 20mph under the speed limit on a mountain road with 50 cars behind it, it’s almost always a Prius. If there’s a car that hesitates at light when it turns green to the point of causing you to miss the light and wait…
I’ve always dreamed of going up there. Sounds like I need to start buying GGB employees some beer.
I lifted my 2000 XJ 3" 8 years ago. I was initially going to go for 4" but chatting on the internet with folks brought up a lot of the problems you mention. 3" was the max I could do to keep the stock springs and just use spacers. Also only had to drop the crossbar an inch to get things back in alignment for a vibe…
I grew up in the 1988 version of this car....for an 80s car it was actually pretty good! The 2.2 liter engine had admirable power for its day and I actually liked the looks of it.
Getting blood drawn. You can give me shots all day and it doesn’t bother me a bit. Even those in your mouth shots at the dentist don’t bother me that much. Getting blood drawn however freaks me out. I get nervous and can’t sleep the night before I have to go to the lab. When it’s happening I have to cover my eyes and…
I was getting new tires the other day and decided to kill some time in a Harley Dealership that was in the same shopping center. I’ve ridden Japanese and Euro bikes for the last 12 years and had never stepped foot into a Harley dealership before.
I commute in the Bay Area on a motorcycle every week. The traffic is so bad in the South Bay that it’s the only thing keeping me sane some days.
