They easily could have built the show around the rest of the cast, with Pohler as just a little glue in the middle. I'm not suggesting that the world just lost a comedic gem, but seriously, there are much worse shows getting renewed, sometimes for years.

It might have helped if NBC had done anything to promote season 2. I wasn't even aware it was back on until I saw the A.V. Club review for the second episode. I only just realize it's back & boom, it's canceled.

That ain't Lake Minnetonka.

Depends on the market, obviously. Are you basing your critique on Minneapolis real estate trends? I mean, back where I grew up in PA, this would be too much, but Twin Cities real estate is kind of inflated—not like LA or NYC inflated, but typically well above national averages. I seriously had the wrong Joe Jackson in mind when I saw this headline.

I would argue that at least Harry's kid's name makes sense. We've met the characters he's named after, & having seen the story, we know why Harry admired them. There's a logic to it.

Well, yeah, but the threat they faced is gone—not just temporarily like before, but gone for good. I'm thinking the coast is clear.

Doesn't Harry become an auror? Seems like that at least has potential not to be just some boring job.

Our term was "rape rod".

I haven't watched it in years, so my memories are mostly impressions. The neighborhood playground, on Friday nights in the summer, would project movies on a sheet stretched between some poles. (This was in the '70s). Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is one I remember watching that way, lying on sleeping bags outside with a bunch

It's hard to imagine anyone uninitiated in Jones' work.

This is especially true of psychological study, as opposed to more easily quantified "hard" scientific fields.

Book store? Library? It is to laugh—this is the 21st century, sir!

It's telling that pretty much any other comic out there thinks Gaffigan is great. Even Maron, who's not exactly everybody's biggest cheerleader, has a ton of respect for Gaffigan.

DO AS I SAY!

Um, about that….

Calling him Snow would be part of the cover that he's Ned Stark's bastard. Calling him anything else would tip people off.
