I think they could do it without her being completely naked. Hell, for the smartly turned-out Lannisters, even just dressing her in rags would be a come-down. Plus, Headey has a LOT of tattoos, so putting her in rags, kinda like a medieval hairshirt, would be easier.

Someone on another site also pointed out that the havoc that the B w/o B are wreaking in the Riverlands draws Jaime Lannister & his army out of King's Landing. That seems like it might be a significant development.

You can see some of their feet as the queen enters the throne room set, & Turner is indeed wearing heels.

I've been re-watching season 1, & I'm pretty sure Tywin's dressing of that stag would be enough to put Morrissey off the show, if he made it as far as episode 7.

Well, yes. Is it important? No. Perhaps you misunderstand what sort of website the A.V. Club is.

Not Warren Zevon—it was Hindu Love Gods. Zevon in the front, with R.E.M.'s Berry, Buck, & Mills backing him. Their cover of the Georgia Satellites' "Battleship Chains" is even better: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

I don't even need to SEE it—just your description is freaking me out.
Clowns.
*shudders*

The frogurt is also cursed.

We just need this paddle-ball game!
And this ashtray!
And this remote control!
But that's it! We don't need anything else!

Oh, I think she definitely left him to die—and, more importantly, to suffer first. Looking at that compound fracture, plus all the other injuries he's sustained (they've referred back to Biter's bite, & Brienne ripped one of his ears off), she could be quite sure he'd die. That she could have offered him the mercy

Didn't they send letters to all the kingdoms, early in the series? In fact, I seem to remember a scene from the show, maybe season 2, where the Small Council at King's Landing discusses such a letter. Tyrion's there advocating for the Night's Watch, because he's the only one of them who's actually been to the Wall &

But since the books are all POV, "narrator" in this case = Tyrion's inner thoughts. So, the line, the thought, comes from Tyrion—he just doesn't say it out loud.

I wanted her to say something, too—though I didn't remember the specific line—but I have to say I liked the way the show, & especially Maisie Williams, handled it. Just that cold stare, letting the Hound—the Hound!—beg, & just giving him NOTHING.

I cheated a bit & references the Wiki of Ice & Fire (I remembered that she came from Essos, but forgot it was Asshai, specifically). So while your theory is tantalizing, if we take the books as canon, it ain't possible. Sorry, man.

I agree that there's not much to the character, but there's more there than just meat puppet. IT seems clear in the books that Coldhands is (well, was) somebody, & despite being (un)dead still can act of his own volition. Like a lot of people, I suspect he's Benjen Stark, but who knows.

I feel like I need to clarify this, yet again: The whores who swooned over Pod's skillz specifically said it wasn't because he had a big wang. That was the first question Tyrion & Bronn asked. The whores were unable to explain exactly what it was about Pod that sent them over the moon, but the one thing they DID say

HEY, THAT'S A CHEAP SHOT! HE'S LEARNING, DAMMIT! HE'S DOING THE BEST HE CAN! IT'S NOT LIKE HE DOESN'T HAVE OTHER SHIT ON HIS PLATE, YOU KNOW!

"Stone in Love"?

I called the LSH reveal for the final scene of the finale. You & I are hardly alone in our wrong prediction. *also kicks sand*
