Nah, Balon's death will be revealed in season 5 & we'll get the whole Iron Islands kingsmoot thing with Euron & Victarion. We'll also get LSH next season, though I too was SURE she'd be the final scene of the finale. The book timeline & the show timeline are sufficiently different that all these things can still

I can see where you're coming from, but knowing Brienne would survive & the Hound wouldn't (well, as far as we know…), rooting for the Hound didn't really occur to me. Plus, Brienne is one of the few truly noble & chivalrous characters in the series (or at least LEFT in the series), & just for once I wanted such a

It was subtle, but I got the impression that, when he opened that trapdoor into the Hand's chambers, he knew exactly where he was. IIRC, in the books Varys tells him where the ladder leads (Varys knew the secret way into the Hand's chambers, but Tyrion didn't), but in the show Tyrion seems to know where he's going.

But she's from Essos originally, from Asshai. They never could have met.

I expect we'll get the reveal when Brienne does, & the revival itself will be via flashback, if at all. They might just talk about it.

The minus is for stiffing us re Lady Stoneheart.
Harumph.

Ser David of Goldleaf?

Tyrion, Jaime, & Cersei are pretty important children, too. "Children" doesn't have to mean young. Hell, it doesn't even mean their parents are still alive.

I do indeed. I didn't figure I needed to list them, since they're obvious.

"the album is better than anyone gives it credit for"

Could be he just hasn't posted it yet. All these images are from season 3, it seems.

Well, it IS Game of Thrones….

SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER! SPOILER!

I loved it even more when Dolorous Edd gave the command to haul the thing back up—the idea that they can RELOAD the scythe made me smile.

No, there's a bigger reason, but I expect that'll be addressed in episode 10. (I'm not "angry", myself, but I must say, I was bummed to lose them.)

That was fun, wasn't it? The show doesn't spend as much time with the Night's Watch as the books do, & we get quite a bit more Dolorous Edd in the books. I love it every time he pops up on the show, but he had a real moment tonight.

I'm surprised the reviewer gives this ep an A-, after reading the review. It reads more like the B that Van der Werff gave it. Me, I'd split the difference & give it a B+.
