I would have been cool with a B+, for many of the reasons TVdW mentioned. And I do think it's fair to hold this show to a higher standard. For most other shows, this ep would have been an A, but for GoT? B+, A- at best.

*Cersei looks at you.*
OK, maybe just this once.
You're the second person on the experts page crowing about being a newbie. Are you lost? If you don't wanna be here, don't be, but if you ARE staying, stop bitching about being here.
Also, that fleeing mammoth stomped on a wildling & squished him real good!
The wildling that got stomped by the fleeing mammoth was cool, too. Rewound & watched that twice, I did.
Didn't they call it "the scythe"? It was indeed anchor-esque, but in effect more scythe-y.
He's limited, but he's good at this sort of thing.
"Least likely"? As soon as he glanced at that bow, I knew he'd be the one to kill Ygritte.
In his blog post, Pastis suggested that Watterson planned to auction off these strips for charity, which wouldn't work so well if he never publicly acknowledged them.
The middle one (http://www.gocomics.com/pea… ) is still a dead end.
Here in the Twin Cities, our libraries are alive & well & oft patronized. It's honestly difficult for me to imagine places with struggling libraries, though I'm sure they exist. Keep fightin' the good fight, @horseradish_road:disqus !
I didn't say he wasn't good, @DDB9000:disqus —just thet he's not as good as he thinks he is. Nobody is talented enough to justify Baker's level of assholery.
Sorry, I thought you were listing songs, not albums. My bad!
Agreed—I dig it, but it is different from the rest of the album.
We had Permanent Waves on 8-track, & I still half expect "Freewill" to fade out, ka-CHUNK, fade back in during the solo.
Fuck Ginger Baker. He's not half as good as he thinks he is.
"Fool in the Rain" has the primo Jimmy jam, for my money, but "Bring it On Home" is unimpeachable.
The one-two punch of "Heartbreaker" & "Living Loving Maid" alone puts LZII in the top three.
DeBella was on WMMR, wasn't he? When I was a kid ('70s & '80s), 'MMR & WYSP were big rivals, both classic rock format, though 'MMR leaned a little more current & rocked a little harder. I still can't wear a Hawaiian shirt without thinking "Hawaiian Shirt Gonzo Friday".
