To be fair, the majority of what is posted or discussed here at the AVC could easily be construed as "no big deal" by most people. Hell, half the commentary on the whole damn Internet would disappear if all we could talk about were Really Important Things.

If you think a corporation like McDonald's makes ANY decision that shruggingly, & without testing the shit out of it, you are sorely mistaken.

Sometimes it really pays to come here while I'm on the work server. If I were at home, I'd probably click those links, but because I'm at work, I don't. Then by the time I get home I've probably forgotten about it & won't come back to it.

I've watched it a couple times because my kids got into it (The Boy is 9 & The Girl is 6). It's generally clever & funny, & better than a lot of kids' programming (& MUCH better than some).

I didn't know what MRA meant. I've seen it referenced here at the good ol' AV Club a couple times, but I've never bothered to look it up. Now that I know it means Men's Rights Activists, I simply cannot roll my eyes hard enough.

Especially when you pronounce "duty" as "doody"!
