Well, that certainly didn't help.

Agreed on the meh assessment of Maron's interview with Moon Zappa. It was one of the rare occasions where I stopped listening—I got maybe halfway through, before I accepted that (a) it wasn't very interesting, & (b) she's not someone I particularly care about. Usually, if the guest isn't someone I care much about, I

I would support such s club!

In the write up of Unfaithfully Yours, "something much worse than what their seeing" needs fixing.

Well, the bidding has closed on the kit, & he got zero bids, so it's safe to say he was over-reaching just a tad. Them's some real nice drums, & might actually be worth a couple grand, but his asking price suggests that he thinks the fact that HE owned & played' em is itself worth more than $50,000, which, no.

Roots aired when I was pretty young (I was not yet 7), so I didn't really watch it, but of course my parents did, so I have a few memories of images from the series. Some day I plan to get to it.

I remember hearing/reading that way back when the song was a hit. Of course, back then I had no idea about the film.

Just re-watched the video for the first time in I couldn't even guess how long, & it's amazing how much I remembered. Fine '80s cheese indeed. 14-year-old me especially enjoyed the butt-slap hand claps.

Back when the Simpsons movie came out, they partnered with Burger King & created a website where you could "Simpsonize" pictures. So I found a reasonably close-up pic of my face & ran it through the Simpsonizer. Really does look quite a bit like me. Also, I didn't notice that you could change features (add or

Why? Do they have something against making money?
