We have it, & it's awesome. I've found clips on YouTube as well, but they tend not to stick around.

This travesty is allowed to proceed, & yet that brilliant John Denver special has never been released in any format. It's an outrage, I say! An OUTRAGE!

YOU TAKE THAT BACK, @avclub-3dc4aaab44b8330ca759362875013019:disqus !
YOU FUCKING TAKE THAT BACK!

And yet John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together remains unavailable on home video. Saith wikipedia: "The special has never been released in any standard home media video format and there are currently no plans to release it." What a world we live in!

"Nazis—I Hate Those Guys!"

sic (adv., Lat.: "thus, in this way")

I dunno, Zapped! is maybe too rapey—or at least too sexist—to qualify as "benevolent".

It's been a REALLY long time since I've D&Ded, so I may be misremembering, but aren't the character's quality numbers generated by rolling a 20-sided die?  If so, the lowest possible roll would be a 1, wouldn't it?  I mean, unless something happened during game play to reduce a number.

Ah—beat me to it!

Whatever happened to AV Club Commenter Diabeetus?

Wait, when was Hanks on Letterman?  The link to The Guardian is dated Wed. Oct. 9th.  Hanks mentioned his diabetes on the Nerdist podcast this week, which was posted to iTunes on Monday (Oct. 7th).  What I'm getting at here is:  Did the Nerdist podcast get the scoop on this story?

You're welcome!  I live in the Twin Cities, which has the largest Somali population outside of Somalia, so I see/hear the word quite frequently.  I'm sure most everybody else sees/hears the word a lot less often.

(BTW, the correct term is Somalis, not Somalians.)

Hanks was on the Nerdist podcast again this week, & godDAMN is the man charming & delightful.  If you haven't listened to it, you really should. Likewise his earlier appearance (Oct. 8, 2012).

And I'm pretty sure I've heard/read Hammill admitting it.

Yeah, I always thought that looked like it really, hurt, too, though he just gets back Up & keeps running.

But what's weird is apparently it wasn't even Morrissey's publisher bringing the action.  That I do not get.

I don't even remember what movie that's from (A Time to Kill, maybe?)  I just know it from the sample in The Roots' "Why (What's Going On?)".

I'm assuming he'll just do the voice & that Ultron will be CGI.
