I hate to be the troll on any feed, but just wondering about the language in the recap of the treasure when it describes the lamp as "the head of an African slave." Without seeing the lamp and without knowing who provided the recap, I'm jumping out there to say I'm skeptical about using "African" and "slave"

Just to clarify, when I said her music was bigger than the industry, I meant to her, she’s producing a product from her soul and she seems to feel it can’t be put in a box, whether that’s being told how often to release an album, the content of her songs, what songs to perform at a concert or when to hit the stage.

I think she's just asking for a little empathy. You all respect her as an artist, now respect her as a person.

I think this is what Lauryn has always been about though. She’s always hated that being part of the music industry felt like having your soul be owned in a sense. I couldn't imagine dealing with my depression in the spotlight. And if this is in fact what's going on, I'm sure having to

Was going to post about the trials (whether the public thinks they were self-inflicted or not) that Lauryn has gone through and how that has impacted her psyche. I agree that this sounds like depression, and would hope people could be a little more sensitive about it. I don't think it's ideal to keep people waiting 2

This article just confirmed my dislike for Wendy Williams. Must be nice to be that one woman out of five who has never been sexually assaulted and so can cast doubt on those who have suffered through it.
