They also have a privacy glass delete. Those windows are painfully clear.

Probably because it’s hard to piss off a defunct brand. I’m sure nobody wants their cars, even old ones, to look like shit when it comes to crash tests.

I get that, but it just seems super reactionary and shortsighted.

My new ‘12 Civic and ‘16 Accord both went over 10k before needing an oil change (maintenance minder computer). BMW just changed their recommended interval to 10k/12mo. Seems like the same since average yearly mileage is ~15k?

100 cars split in half. Dafuq are you high on?

PixelPusher220- “I’ve had great experiences with this brand over 20 years and 3 cars, but I now have a problem which inconveniences me and might or might not be eventually taken care of the the manufacturer. Better change brands now.”

Look at this a different way, if he had a 10 mile long rough cobblestone driveway with a yump at mile 3.1 that he uses 10 times per day is it Hyundai’s responsibility to keep him stocked with ball joint and shocks for 5 years?

This reminds me a bit of the Louis CK bit where he said we should have a average person doing every olympic event alongside the pros. Like I get that Michael Phelps is fast and all but I can’t really understand that till I see Ryan from accounting get smoked over in lane 8. Same thing here.

Terrible tactical situation for the apocalypse. It’s gotta take you a minute or two to roll out of that thing and by that time whoever has decided to mess with you will have probably had their way and left.

My ‘03 Silveraydo has a hour meter integrated into the mileage computer. It’s not supposed to be re-settable but there are some fluky things that can zero it out.

Take all the words you wrote about the experience and replace “Exocet” with “motorcycle” and you get why “Two Wheels Good”.

This article is stupid because you and I both know the “Bronco” isn’t going to “compete” in any meaningful way against the Wrangler. It’s going to be an Explorer alternative for people who want to pretend that they like to go off road and can afford to get shitty gas mileage.

Extra receivers are $5 a month so I’ll go ahead and back Phil up on his bullshit claim.

I live a little outside Columbus and have experiences in line with Emerald. My lone ticket in 5 years of OH driving was for 22 over. I’ve also got it on good accord that 5-7 is generally tolerated by OHP (unless you look shady). Source: My friend who is OHP.

We already have all the facts we need. This is more expensive, less efficient, and functions as a wear surface. Just put solar panes along the side of the road or in the median.

Trucks are a different story. My 03 has 213k and is going strong save for the exact things you mentioned. On the flip side just try to spot an 03 Cavalier next time you’re on the road.

That’s because they’re at the junkyard. Next time you’re out and about try to spot a first gen (98-05) Focus. I dare you. I haven’t seen on on the road in weeks.

I mean you’re basically right. They don’t do much for our economy, if anything. The $16 billion of capital investment in their US facilities and $2.2 billion annual payroll for their 29,500 direct employees in the US are basically rounding errors. Same thing with the $35 billion spent on parts coming from 557
