It the truck new or is this just a sticker job? More importantly will it have a “Toyota” engine in it? Perhaps from their NASCAR program?

Why not just run them all at 75kWh and split the difference in price? Are people shopping $70k+ sedans really that price sensitive that two ‘entry level’ models so close to each other are necessary?
Somebody already posted somewhere that it was designed to fit 4'x8' sheets laying flat. They will overhang the tailgate a little though.
In any other category this vehicle would be hailed as a home run breakthrough. Because it’s a truck from a not truck company it gets shit on as an also-ran before anybody puts a single mile on it.
Top of the class with 10% better fuel economy while offering similar payload ratings to full-size crew cab pickups and tow ratings equivalent to body on frame midsizers along with class leading ride and handling and innovative brand-exclusive storage feature.
That’s about it the same results I’ve gotten with my modern Hondas. Usually meeting or exceeding combined by ~1mpg. One advantage that you get is that the EPA numbers are set without using the Econ button and that made a legit difference in my ‘14 Accord.
Opposite experience from what I've had. My previous gen Ridgeline was significantly better than any full size I've ever been in.
My Accord is the other way around. It generally meets or exceeds by ~1 mpg combined.
Why not just take a picture of your speedo and text it to your friends like the old days? Sue phone makers that allow cameras to work when they are traveling over 10mph?
EX-L V6 Sedan gives up the manual for a 6AT and a little bit dynamically for that sweet sweet powahhhhh! The latest 3.5 V6 has 286hp and is a legit blast plus it’s real world fuel economy is actually pretty close to the I4 models. It’s $30,750 but offers strong resale and could probably be had with some incentives.
USA’s Olympic Uniforms The Olympics Are WASPy Bullshit
They advertise it and label it in manuals that way, but back in reality it functions as an L3 system. Just because you put in the instructions that you have to keep your hands on the wheel doesn’t hold up in the legal sense. Every other manufacturer enforces that instruction by requiring input to be detected at…
But they apply it as a true Level 2 system instead of Tesla’s advertised “Level 2" system which is in reality operating at Level 3. All the nagging things you talk about are the reasons that the Volvo’s system could be deemed inherently safe (keeping you constantly engaged in what is going on). The Tesla allows you to…
All while R&T is producing pitch perfect replicas of Jalopnik articles and posting them all over Facebook.
Sean got straight up fired.
So you guys fired Sean to hire more New York based car guys? How many more of you does it take to jerk off Tesla 24/7?
I get your point. I guess I just mean to say that’s its not an intentional cheat, just a difference in philosophy whether they want to chase that last mpg on the sticker of if they’re willing to leave some on the table in exchange for superior driveability.
What I’m talking about isn’t so much cheating as it is the sensitivity to being babied through a fuel economy test versus driving like a regular person. You can’t control how a person is going to drive the car but you can tune transmission shift maps and fuel maps to favor the test at the expense of decent real word…
Historically there have been good reasons for that. I don’t expect anything to change now with regards to pricing or quality gap.
