What do you think the over/under for the clear coat wearing off and the gas tank to rust through will be? For a middle America state like Indiana I'll go with 2.5 years.

Note that for the rear legroom pic that the seat backs are even with the B pillar which means they are slid forward just for the pic.

Resale value.

They misquoted Acuras statement that they are the best selling LUXURY three row SUV.

I’d point out that in most of those cases of multiple powertrain options there is a shitty one and the one to get. H/A just seems to skip the shitty one.

Hate, hate, hate.

Not bad.

With the aggressive MSRP why not start with the 328 tune of the 2.0L so it can at least be a “performance” hybrid? +60hp for -1mpg on the combustion side seems like a good trade off for this setup.

I’d agree with the statement that Ohlins parts on an X-teen thousand dollar Triumph are likely better durability wise than an entry level Suzuki but they still aren’t magic.

Now playing

I did this with a 5 point on. It was equal parts pain and concern I broke the car. (I didn’t)

The only fallacy I see in your argument is that the upgraded suspension is automagically better because Ohlins. If anything my guess would be that the Ohlins bits are firmer and less comfortable, yet have more adjustment (for the amateur to screw up) and a bit more capacity to handle aggressive riding. Rolling around

It’s not like the competition is much better. I don’t see any 600hp AWD Beetles or Fiestas on the lot...

But above all just remember that all those vehicles are designed to ensure your safety. You might get the misinformed idea that unmarked/deceptively marked cars are for revenue generation, but you’d be wrong.

Thank you for this. I daily drive one of those 15mpg trucks and I constantly field questions from friends about why I don’t buy a gas saving car. The thing is for me that I’m always going to need a truck in the portfolio and I’ve tried to make the numbers work with a second car because the reality is that I have a

Im surprised that transmission remaps aren’t gaining popularity like fuel map tunes. I suspect it’s one part complexity and another part market distrust of things that change trans parameters.

But *they don’t*. I’m still baffled why there isn’t an Ecoboost V6 Mustang variant.

It’s not turbo lag, it’s the tendency to default to top gear all the time thanks to engine downspeeding in the name of fuel economy. Get it in the right gear and they stomp ass, but you better have a 2 second head start on a 50-70 pull if you're trying to shoot a gap.

Except for the horrendous lag between applying the throttle and going anywhere thanks to the awful trans tuning.

The worst part about this for me is how the bed side went from being conveniently below the door handle level for easy access to 8-10" above. I’m 5' 8" and I’m not sure that I can reach over the side and touch the bed floor on any 2016 4x4.

Call me crazy but I like the fixed headlight NSX better than the one with pop ups. I think it looks better and the addition of projectors over shitty sealed beams makes it way better in my book.
