Like the other guy mentioned my street bike tool kit is an iPhone, a health insurance card, a AAA card, hopes, and dreams.

Acura does their Jewel eye light and you hate on them. Bugatti does it and it’s no big deal.

All aboard the troller coaster.

This particular comment might not be the best place in the conversation to slip this in but I’ll give it a shot anyways. The flip side of your statement is living a hollow unfulfilled life where you end up killing yourself at home with some pills. Take anything to an extreme and you can label it as selfish

They're more likely a drunk 50 year old not wearing a helmet but potato potato potato...

“Ford would also like to remind everyone that they are the first with this in the midsize sedan class, and no Honda Accord or Toyota Camry has this sort of technology.”

Sure that’s an option, I just think Mazda did their customers a disservice by not offering a 200~210hp NA four as even an option. Equipped that way it’d likely be able to easily meet my arbitrary benchmark for a sporty car to be at least as quick as a 2002 Camry V6.

Everybody acts like you’d need a viper drivetrain in an MX-5 to support 200hp but in reality you’re looking at <100lbs of weight and maybe $50 worth of materials to have a vastly more exciting car that would appeal to a broader audience. The Civic Si has made right at 200hp for ten freaking years! A 200hp engine is

Now all we have available is variable valve timing and direct injection. Poor substitutes for leaded fuel indeed.

That’s a good point considering there have been no advancements in internal combustion engine technology since 1970.

This car made 155hp out of a 1.6L in the late 60's/early 70's while the 2016 Miata makes do with the same power from a 2.0L. Tell me again how that's OK?

How does it compare to a Hyper 939? Both fit the tall naked with wide bars profile but the hyper is 80lbs heavier but but packs 45 more horses. Clearly you give up some agility for power but Is it reasonable to mention the two in the same breath? Who should buy one bike over the other?

No travel numbers, no care. You can put the baddest ass Fox shocks that have ever been on 7" of travel and it’ll still suck ass.

Your hipster is showing a bit much if you like the exhaust on the Iron Lungs bike. I totally agree that the tail/seat/side cover are solid and the paint is dumb but holy shit that exhaust looks like a failed experiment from an apprentice a Jim’s Muffler Emporium.

Counterpoint: There’s no such thing as paddle tires for pavement and riding power wheelies for a half mile are frowned up on the street.

Better than RLX?

There was a guy out there last year with one of those. It helps, but it wasn’t like he was magically able to ride anywhere he wanted.

I’m not sure but it looks like it’s about 9".

I won't argue the guy isn't a huuuuge douche but the problem is where DO you draw that line in the sand. Maybe EM picked the right one here, maybe he's being a dick, maybe it's both at the same time.
