Ok you got me on a technicality. For the ‘12 and ‘13 model years there were 2433 ILX hybrids sold, the only Acura ever with a CVT. It was so bad they discontinued it after just 2 years. It is true that there are several Hondas with CVTs now, but the Acura lineup has escaped the drone of CVTs.

Acura has never had a CVT.

Auto clutch my man. Just like your childhood go kart.

You’re right. There is no possible way that this or a prepped SOHC civic would be enjoyable on a track at all. We should never race anything that’s isn’t at least a supersport bike or an Indy car. That’s shits for hipsters and queers, basically the same thing amirite?

I generally agree except for the CVT part. None of the Acuras currently have a CVT and when you have an 8DCT, a 9AT, and a 9DCT at your disposal why even risk alienating your customers?

That’s called an RLX Hybrid and it already exists.

The Legend already exists in other markets. That's what they call the RLX. What I think would be great is a 10G Civic Si based Integra that actually does a good job separating itself from the base vehicle.

I think it's as much the color as anything. That's the same color Mazda has used for a few cards.

There’s very little chance that the slight jumpstart on getting the specs will impact a development due to the timeframes used. Nobody is planning their development schedule around some measurements taken by at a show with a tape measure.

I know for a fact that at least one Japanese automaker outright buys competitor models and tests them in house.

Ridgeline has a higher payload rating than a Ram Crew Cab with an Ecodiesel by 3-400lbs, or one of your Mom. Pretty impressive for what by your standards is a car.

I know you’re in agreement but I’ve personally fit 3 250F moto bikes in the back of a Ridgeline. 2 forwards, 1 backwards.

And the best part is you can reach over the bedside and get to stuff!

We're talking pickup trucks here poindexter not medium duty stuff.

Yeah his Instagram had a post recently where he looked waaay doughy.

Reed was OK in my book until he put Canard in the tough blocks like a total dick last year after a totally innocent racing incident. Now to me he’s just a bitter old man who gets pissy when things don’t go his way.

The problem with your statement is the truck part. No matter how hard this tries it isn’t a truck. A truck has an open bed. Not to say this isn’t exactly as much vehicle as you need, it's just not a truck.

Let’s pretend that Hondas never have year end sales either and that these two both cost $35k. Even if they cost the same why get a bigger truck you don’t need from a company with a significantly worse track record for rust problems and burnt up truck transmissions? Nothing you just described couldn’t be done by a

1. A sportbike might squeeze in but a dirt bike won’t. And for an ATV now you have to own/register/store a trailer just to haul a single ATV. Seems totally practical.

1. Motorcycle/ATV won’t minivan. Minivan is only rated to tow 3500 and isn’t available with AWD.
