As a pickup and a Jeep, it is double-dipping in two categories with remarkably low depreciation. It’s probably going to make more sense to buy new than used. Definitely wait for the wave of pent-up demand to die down, though.

Anyone wanting a serious work truck wouldn’t want to pay extra for the convertible lifestyle anyway. It was never about having the biggest truck bed for contractors.
The rear seat seems far from useless. It’s apparently just about the largest leg room in its class; someone 6’2” got in there with the front seat all the way back and still was able to fit.
As someone with aeronautical and mechanical engineering schooling, this was a great explanation of the tradeoffs that are taken into consideration for vehicle design. Almost every decision made on one part affects other parts and designs. As a whole, vehicles are wicked complicated!
I used to also laugh at the fools in these stories until our company spent big dollars for a “State of the Art” system. It has 44 HD cameras that record to an array of 14 - 10 TB drives. The footage is then uploaded to the cloud. I can pull it up at anytime from anyplace.
As an IT guy with multiple IP camera networks in various places (important ones too, like the county jail.) This is a nightmare scenario... and is why we periodically check to make sure recordings are being archived correctly...
I feel like this post could kick off a whole sub-thread about different perspectives of what is comfortable. An E63 is luxurious, but I would not describe it as comfortable. The seats in our test car were very hard and the ride was definitely on the stiff side.
