I think it doesn’t get as much love because the historicals require the audience to know the historical characters to some extent, but the BBC Henriad cycle, The Hollow Crown, is wonderful. My favorite of the series is Richard II, lead by Ben Whishaw in the title role.

It’s really the only Joss Whedon production that I will watch now. It helps that he had no hand in the writing. And that the cast was so spectacular.

I think it’s evidence of just how garbage women’s roles in media were for a long time that people fell all over themselves for his female characters. Only hire male showrunners - > get garbage female characters. And then drop dead with thankfulness when female characters are only sort of problematic.

A good knife is worth the PITA of hand-washing, as are good pots. Everything else though, sure.

I’m pretty sure those are glass bento boxes. I wouldn’t guess they’d be safe for baking.

I have a pretty massive head, and I’ve had good luck with the Armbrust filter + face brace. The face brace makes the thing stick to your head very well (so probably a good choice if you have a beard). They’re also sized to your nose, in case that’s an issue.

This is not a complete list, but everything in the list has been vetted. I stopped buying elsewhere because it’s too easy to end up with counterfit.

Ferris Bueller (rather than Breakfast Club) is the far superior 80s brat pack hangout movie. It’s perhaps a little zanier than a strict hangout might be, but certainly no more so than Rushmore or some of the others here.

I didn’t say she was awesome. I said she was the boring part of the story. Every day, somebody sells a chimera to the investor class; perhaps somewhat less frequently (every other day?) somebody overtly lies about their product or process, often enough about medical stuff. It happens all the time.

The Elizabeth Holmes story is interesting, but not for the reason the media thinks it is. Really, it’s just another woman doing a thing men do all the time, but because it’s a woman, it’s supposedly shocking. It’s Martha Stewart all over again.

I’m pretty picky about kid lit and their adaptations to screen, but the MBS books and show were both really fun and stylish and worth it. I’d say similar to the first Harry Potter movie in terms of being aimed at kids but watchable by parents. Depending on your tolerance for that sort of thing.
