Rachel was the biggest catch on this season IMO, but I didn’t feel like Nick was really on her level. I’m happy she’ll be getting her own show and a casting a wider net to find a match. (I know it’s mostly all fake but it’s more fun to believe in it)

For real. They’re both whiny little bitches. Nick would have never been able to land a woman as awesome as Rachel in the real world.

This is so great, but I wonder why they chose to announce this when I would’ve picked her to be the winner this season (although Nick is no prize). I really think Nick is going to pick Corrine. They deserve each other.

I dunno, it’s hard to beat the rehearsal dinner where the groom showed up with a prostitute and insisted she stay for the whole thing because he was going out with her afterwards and had already paid for the whole night. And nobody stopped that wedding.

I don’t know if it’s specifically American or not, but I always thought that it was just a quick run through of the wedding (like who stands where and when) and then a dinner with the two families and the wedding party. My rehearsal dinner was just a family spaghetti dinner at the in-law’s house and then we all went…

i think there’s a correlation between money spent on a wedding and the probability that it ends in divorce. obviously i don’t have data to back this up, (since it’s 2017 and that shit apparently doesn’t matter anyway) but to me, spending a lot of money on an extravagant wedding has always come off as over-compensating…

Totally agree, totally boring season, but very obvious that this season the producers are calling the shots and ensuring that a woman of color makes it to near-ish the end. Pretty confident they made a deal with Nick and this is more of a PR “see we aren’t racists” plug for the show, more than anything else.

I am also FIRMLY team Rachel. But I hope that she is the next Bachelorette, not the winner of this season. She’s waaaaay out of Nick’s league. I’m just afraid that if she were the bachelorette, she’d have to date 24 personal trainers!

I found it hard to pay attention after that whole, “let’s have a super fun date at a fucking plantation” thing. That really disturbed me. Respect my ancestors and don’t make out on piece of land where people were literally treated like animals.
