"Men, you know what it's like to slink out of Wal-Mart with a fistful of plastic bags containing "feminine hygiene" products for your significant other. With these Asian brass knuckles, you can reclaim at least some of your dignity."

The issue with facial recognition technology, as with all technology is not with the technology itself but witht control amd use of the technology.

Great little app, but when are they going to let us here in the UK use it?

It sounds fairly plausible although I haven't checked it out as yet, (many more things that are more worthwhile to do with my time to be honest!).

Print is dead? I don't think so. Not in my lifetime anyway.

It does seem slightly bizarre to me that there's no mention within this article of StuffIt. I use version 15.0.2 also called StuffIt Destinations and it's the dog's proverbials. It will create 25 kinds of file, (including RAR, Zip, etc) and it has a nicely design interface too.

GetHuman is a very good site. For those of us in the UK there's also the brilliant site, Say No to 0870, ([www.saynoto0870.com)] which offers low cost or cheap alternatives to high cost customer service numbers and the like. Maybe someone in the US should start an equivalent?

Totally cool! I had heard of this before but it is such a brilliant shortcut and so useful, especially for taking screen shots of maps and stuff like that.

Paper cuts are just a sign that your skin is too soft. Pah! Harden up! I've worked in design and print for 28 years and while I got paper cuts when I was a young apprentice I now no longer do. Because I do proper work that involves a degree of effort.

I love Lifehacker, I really do.

Soldier 1: We need more cannon fodder.

I wear a Seiko Kinetic Divers Watch. It's well designed, tough, doesn't need a battery and it work flawlessly. I don't have money to waste, (so no Rolex or other stupidly expensive watch) and I don't need fashionable junk. It does exactly what it say on the tin. Beautifully.

The real problem here is breast feeding.*

This doesn't seem to work on a Mac. Is that because Mac's don't have this facility (unecessary) or is there another reason, does anyone know?

What a cool patch! Where can I get one? Please tell me it's real.

The interface on Credit Karma is really nice but it's not a service that is available to people in the UK. Is there something like this available outside of the US? Does anyone know?

Just say no.

If you have that little trust and communication between you and your child that you need key logging software from the police to manage their internet use, there is something seriously wrong with your relationship and you really need to deal with that rather than looking for a technological solution to 'police' them.

I don't really have a problem in paying a reasonable amount for printer ink, but some of the printer manufacturers act like the worst drug dealers/junk food conglomerates that you've ever come across.
