I have to deal with these people A LOT, and they almost kind of disgust me in a way. The ones who only play military shooters or sandbox GTA/Saints Row style games are the worst offenders in my book. I consider these people to be "gamers" about as much as I consider people who play Candy Crush "gamers."

I feel sorry for those people. they should get out more. play different games occasionally. maybe they'll find something that they like more.

Don't forget the gamers who realize that the more and more responsibilities they accrue the more carefully they have to scrutinize their game choice due to lack of free time.

I agree. I usually hate myself when I get sucked into a MMO, but I typically only stay with them for 6-8 months then move on. You don't realize how many other cool games you might be missing out on, when you binge into a MMO.

I admire these people who have the dedication to only stick to one game but I don't think I could ever be one of them.

I hate all these fan theories about this crap. It's basically fan fiction, in that it's uninteresting to me and everyone in every possible way.

Wanna know how long it'd take to beat every game in your Steam library? There's a calculator app for that. Just go there and either sign in or, if your profile is public, enter your Steam ID. I'm looking at 2842 continuous hours, or 118 days, 10 hours, and 12 minutes. How about you?

Plus about $300 in costs the expansions and base game. Also most of these people like me have paid for in game items, our of game merch, and blizzcon tickets or second accounts for various reasons. Last time I counted my cost of wow I got to $3000 and gave up and cried in a corner till raid started.
