Exactly. If you don't have/use Kinect, this won't affect you in any way. Get over it, people.

Why is it bad if it does more than just browse the menus? It's going to be optional, so if you don't like it you can simply ignore it.

The problem is the default comment view only displays comments from starred commentators, or those that were promoted by starred commentators. So they do make a difference in how many views a comment gets.

So you're saying she shouldn't've become a games journalist because of her gender?

This is one of the reasons why launch titles never fully utilize what a new console can do.

Why is this a problem? Some people like to play one way, some like to play the other way. Why not cater to both groups?

The Red Box near me had this when I went to the supermarket last Saturday. So it's already been rolled out in at least some locations.

The fact that there are 'other modes' makes me even more worried about this game. Instead of having one main mode and focusing on making it work properly, they are spreading themselves thinly over many modes. And this is probably the most well-developed mode thus far, since it is the one they were willing to show.

Well, that's what you get when you take that long to finish a game.

Actually that's a good point. Just how much is downloading a game to this thing going to cost? The thing's online store might be DOA due to such restrictive bandwidth caps.

My favorite one so far.

Because they included their own software to do voice recognition. Software they had to pay for. The Kinect includes similar software that the developers can use for free, because MS wants more Kinect integration.

Perhaps you could point me to the voice recognition software you can license for free, like the Kinect libraries?

Funny, I smell ignorance. And it's coming from your direction!

Just because it isn't being done on the device itself doesn't mean that there aren't device drivers on the console doing the work.

The reason I say no higher than $350 is because they're still trying to target the casual audience with it. If they go any higher than that it is going to be difficult for the average family to justify buying it.

Mario Party is intended to be a party game you play at social gatherings.

I'm gonna say $350. I can't really see them selling it for more than that, and for less than that I don't think they'd be making a profit on it.

I'm still trying to decide whether WiiU or Vita sounds worse. They both sound pretty bad.
