The battle system is actually pretty interesting once you get used to it. And since you basically level up from the bosses, you can pretty much skip any battles you want. The big problem comes from the story. There's way too many characters for any of them to receive any real development. And the way the story ties…

It sounds like they consider 3/5 to be a pretty decent score. I.e. 3 out of 5 stars is generally considered to be pretty decent. It just doesn't work so well when you map it to a 0-100 scale.
