It's oddly comforting to know that this sort of groundless rhetoric happens in other countries as well - that Fox doesn't have the monopoly on it.

Actually, California Civil Code 1747.08 includes the following passage:
I think he's referring to the fact that Gamestop/EB is the only major retail chain dedicated to games. Walmart/Target/BestBuy/etc are all forms of big-box retailers.
It would be rated AO, which would cause the console manufacturers to refuse to approve it for sale. So in effect it would be banned from sale - but by industry groups, not the government.
Punch-Out!! isn't the greatest game around for motion controls. It relies too heavily on twitch reactions and pinpoint timing - both of which are much more doable on a traditional controller. You could make a Punch-Out!! game for a motion controller / Kinect, but the opposing boxers would have to be significantly…
I had a CD-i back in the day with both of the side-scrolling Zelda games. Let me tell you - they were bad. We would stick the Link game in the system just to laugh at its opening cinematic. The in-game graphics were actually pretty good, but the control was incredibly stiff, making the games way more difficult than…
It's funny, but I think Space Ace was probably the best game on the system. Probably because the controls amounted to pressing a direction or button when prompted.
These days? Jobs.
It deserves it. It is a really fun game.
The PS3 really can do some great things, but it is more complex than the architecture of the 360 or PC. So you can't just develop for the 360 and expect a simple port to the PS3 to work - you have to give it special consideration and concurrent development to ensure everything comes our right.
That was the first thing that came to mind when I read the teaser for the story.
In regards to the Penny Arcade comic: I don't mind the new format run through the '#!classic' link. The main problem I have with it though is when I back out of a story, it returns me to the top of the list, while the old site would leave me where I was, making it easier to browse back through the day's worth of…
Uhh... what? How the hell does this make any sense at all? My father buys autographed books off of eBay all the time. Something in this story just doesn't add up...
None of this really matters. I mean, look what they're doing to the guy they've already caught. They're using the legal system to bully him around, knowing full well that even if he is acquitted the cost of the proceedings will likely bankrupt him.
@Erghantar: Be glad this isn't one of Owen Good's threads. You'd be banned by now for that.
@iadagraca: So I guess that means you care? After all, you must care somewhat in order to be able to care less than you currently do.
@aak7268: It's disturbing, yet completely hilarious.
Good thing he's using his arm to cover his face in the second picture.
I'm ashamed to belong to the same gender as the idiots who send these messages. I can only hope they all get their just rewards some day.
@jayntampa: Yeah, how could they not see this? Unless they just didn't care.
