It’s a very big club, Madeleine.

The women that voted for Trump is what stings the worst. If we don’t stand together we can never move forward.

I keep thinking I’m going to wake up.

I can’t believe this is happening. I can’t believe this is happening. I can’t believe this is happening. That loop has been playing in my head all day.

I love meyers for this, and all his coverage of the election, he has really found his rhythm.

“I’m hopeful that he’s not actually racist, that he’s just used racist rhetoric to court voters,”

Last night, I was walking home while sobbing from my friends’ election party-turned-funeral-for-America, and this guy was walking in the opposite direction, crying, and we just stopped and talked for a minute and then hugged (not in a creepy way at all).

What kills me is that he got his highest support from women age 44 and up. Like, the demographic that Trump would consider the most completely disposable, the age where he replaced all his wives, that’s who was like “sure, I’ll vote for that guy.”

Stop saying shit is meaningless. That’s why people sit at fucking home and don’t vote, or vote third party, or elect a hate-spewing racistmisogynisticpieceofshitasshole for our president.

I met two women who voted trump.

Yep, I can’t feel sorry for these types of White women who would vote for a known sexual predator/harraser.

I think that a whole lot of people believed that he could not possibly win.

Presumably doing their jobs and voting. These protests are in Berkeley, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago and NY and those states all went solidly blue.

Turnout matters. Just look at the voting totals. Trump didn’t even get the total number Romney or McCain got. The Dem side for some unfucking- unfathomable reason just didn’t turn out. WAY less voters than 08 for Obama and 12.

I’m in Bed Stuy and heard of the Central Park protest about an hour after it started. I wanted to go, but I’m too busy drinking myself to death (one six pack in, 0plan on going to the store for another).

I can assure you that he did not get my vote or support nor can he ever count on it. I am disgusted by the lack of voter turnout this election and dismayed by the number of women who voted for Trump.

I’ve seen people posting today about how the electoral college doesn’t officially submit their votes until mid-December, and how in some states, there’s apparently only a fine as punishment for the state’s electoral delegates voting contrary to the results. In other states it’s completely illegal (like mine). Any

This is wonderful. And now we need to keep it up for 4 years. I’m in SF, and the main protest tonight is in Oakland, but work went too late; hoping to attend more in the future.

Something hit me today. Considering that white women came out strong for Trump last night, was he really lying when he said:

While I know there were some protests over Trump during the past year and a half, I can’t wonder why there weren’t more, and on this scale, and wonder how many of these protesters actually voted in the Reckoning yesterday.
