It’s funny that so many people think the government does something when you speak out against them. For real, you'll face more consequences on social media from people like Musk then you would from the actual government in the United States. But let's keep perpetuating the myth that the government is out to control

Strange how these dipshits whine that banning people spewing the N-Word, harassing Trans individuals, or claiming that drinking bleach will cure COVID is “violating the user’s free speech”, but they draw the line at mocking the petulant billionaire upset that he’s being clowned on.

Even funnier are the Musk stans running around defending it as "his company his rules" ignorant of the "free speech" Musk promised.

This shit gets funnier by the hour, this man in so far above his head it is ridiculous.

I’m surprised Musk didn’t get his own account banned for not marking it as “parody”

Elon has had a long-standing rule where if he can do your job, you’re fired. He laid me off. I didn’t even work at Twitter! I was just there to use the pooper.

Eat shit Elon with that “they’re trying to destroy free speech” bullcrap. That’s what YOU are trying to do, with your magafascist tweeting of false conspiracy theories.

It’s almost like buying a company on a whim with zero forethought or plan is a bad idea.

It’s almost like running a company for a week isn’t a long enough time to understand everyone’s roles (even if they seem superfluous or redundant at first look) and is definitely not enough time to reorganize the remaining half of your workforce to a) keep the site running, and b) figure out how to deliver on a new

So company that is prepared to dump you in the shitter at a moments notice, would desperately like you back because it turns out you were more useful than they anticipated.

Twitter is dead, it just doesn’t know it yet. I literally laughed that they’re begging people to come back. FUCK NO!

Oh god, default resolutions are the WORST (I’m on a 1440p main monitor with 2 1080p monitors and a 4K TV -- default resolutions mean that all of my programs go -everywhere-)

As a person who does not like when my games ignore my monitor resolution and start in 1080p against my will, I am the kind of guy who really loves a launcher that lets me set the resolution before the game launches at all the first time.

Because it was “better”? (It wasn’t, for years.)

Do you really not know how the internet works after all these years?

It has worked for years before all these other launchers came around and Valve never abused that fact, but people want to pretend otherwise for some reason.

I think what annoys people is “this game is an epic exclusive.” I don’t think Steam really does that, beyond maybe Valve games.

Does everyone WANT Valve to have an uncontested soft-monopoly on the PC platform?

It was first, or at least very early, and widely adopted for broad PC platform. Similarly Steam wouldn’t get a pass if it only launched Valve games, I would assume.
