They keep the default bitrate low, so it can be used with mobile devices on mobile connections. I’ll happily pay money for DLC that works consistently and doesn’t need to be updated with every patch, works with Achievements, and doesn’t become a dead end when the creator moves on.

From what I can tell, those accolades are mostly sales based, so the fact that he can make hip hop more palatable for a broader audience (read: can make people comfortable with hip hop and not make them have to listen to or reflect on black voices/stories) is where his “success” mostly comes from
