Also, in case people need to remember, driving a taxi is more fucking deadly than being a cop and no one thanks taxi drivers for their service and worships them as heroes.

That’s even better.

Ted Bundy was 42 years old when he was executed for having committed 30 murders. Now when people hear the name “Ted Bundy” all they ever think about is those murders, and naturally they frown in disapproval, but do the arithmetic; on fewer than two tenths of a percent of the days in his life did he murder even one

That is one happy circus bear.

Could also be there’s people out there (like me) that don’t want a gas powered truck because they’re so inefficient fuel wise and an electric is just what we want. Could take the place of the typical truck bro

That’s... not how anything works.

I doubt if there’s anything in a Tesla  that the Chinese EV industry don't already know. Building an electric car isn't rocket science.

Hmm... it would be easier for the cars to go in the direction they need to if they were able to follow a rail of some kind. And then since they’re on a rail, they can use harder tires that run on the rail directly for reduced rolling resistance. AND, if they’re on a rail, we could get rid of the problem of having

For literally every other autonomous system it is. Tesla is being ridiculous here, and like many other questionable decisions, it is probably in order to save costs on manufacturing.

Not to mention this looks like much nicer interior quality and aesthetics than the Model S. Tesla sells a car that’s at a luxury price, with luxury performance, but without a luxury feel. This looks like it could actually be competitive in that space.

rewrite doesn’t mean do away with.  You could very easily enjoy this on the weekends, putting 2, 3 thousand miles on it a year and commute in an EV.

stunning and brave

Seems awfully popular among MAGAts & the other fragile jerkoffs that make up the American Fascist Party/GOP.

I really miss the good old days, when nothing was a cross-over, and all cars were low to the ground, and ultra-wide track.

Well, I’m pretty confident you are going to be surprised at some point then.

The misplaced arrogance of the Tesla community is why I had put off buying an EV until someone else came along with a viable competitor. Ford has now done that and the Korean cousins (Hyundai/Kia) will be entering the market soon enough.

I am done here. A whole year of Americans basically having this sort of self-entitlement attitude where given the FIRST chance to skip even the most basic of safety measures in light of a pandemic that could very easily switch gears at a moment’s notice, where the virus could mutate beyond the level of
