Sorry I didn’t mean break even financially. Maybe tipping point is the word. I gathered from your post was that the range was a problem for you. So I was just curious as to what range would suffice to make an EV competitive for you personally.

It’s all about demographics and technology. The following generation is always more liberal than its parent generation. Sometimes by a wife margin, sometimes very much at all, but always a little to the left.
I am starting to be cautiously optimistic that Trump may be the best thing that ever happened to America in the long term. The pendulum wing that is going to hit after this clown show is going to be historic in nature. We may actually get progressives in government again.
No, I’m going off of a futurism article, but that is the expected range, about double what Lithium Ion can provide. But the greater point was what is your break even mileage figure? For me it was 250 miles, but I am wondering what it would be for you?
But what if you had 500 miles every morning instead if 200? That is the potential range we’re talking about.
On the bright side Dyson’s are ridiculously easy to destroy.
I for one will be perfectly happy with my rebuilt 74 Grand Am with an electric motor.
Yeah, as an Oakland resident I am down with Warrior fans paying for it instead of me. If we can just get rid of of the A’s we can turn the Coliseum complex into a huge growing and processing facility and make some real money.
Plus, they have been bubble canopies on fighter jets for 70 years. I am having a hard time understanding the difficulty here.
Krill, baby Krill
“Worst case, buy a green car if I really hate it, drop an LS in it”
So that’s where I left it...
I think I may have found my first electric conversion.
Certainly would work out financially. Full sized spare vs 32 lbs of weed?
Bet you it’s got brown interior now.
Where going back to leather/no helmets would help is the interior line. They are finding its the cumulative impacts over time that is causing some of the long-term problems. With no helmets, interior linemen won’t be butting heads every play.
As I said in my other reply, I don’t much care about day to day prices because they are so volatile due to any number of factors. What if the middle east blows up again and gas spikes $5 a gallon?
Sure governments can speed it up and I would love to see them doing so aggressively like China is doing right now.
The way I see it it that oil and coal are finite resources that by their nature will increase in price as they are used up. Renewables are technology that gets cheaper the more of it we use.
So much this. I will give you my contact info when we have something to discuss, not before.
