Agree. Some atheists are way too preachy - and self righteous. It’s an awful lot like some religious zealots who are preachy and self righteous. Atheism is a faith just like those.

Meh, depends what you mean by historically. Historically, conservatism was first described by Edmund Burke in the seventeenth century, and just means “cautious about change.”
