Space Dandy and...hmm...
Space Dandy and...hmm...
Yeah, seriously. He is the living embodiment of the "Stop liking what I don't like" kid.
Yeah, for me, the dub was far more entertaining to watch as an English speaker. Far more quotable too.
"I CAN'T READ CIRCLE!"
I don't even like moe and KyoAni's recent work. But I loved Nichijou.
Heh, I wouldn't eve consider Nichijou to be completely moe, except for maybe Nano and the Professor and a few side characters. Everyone else had far more personality than the average moeblob.
Yeah, most of the anime I've enjoyed recently have been shows that have little-to-no moe-ness at all (AoT, Kill la Kill, the first episode of Space Dandy (and hopefully the rest), to name a few) Its hard picking out shows to watch when a big part of a lot of them is how moe a character or characters are. It almost…
I wonder if its to remind readers of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which is well known throughout Asia. There's quite a few thematic similarities between that and ASoIAF
I'm surprised there isn't a scale figure of Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann yet.
My extent of anime fandom is generally just watching the shows and movies and I usually consider anime figurines to be kinda creepy. But Gurren Lagann? I'd make an exception for that.
Mako is best girl of all best girls.
The show's had 12 episodes so far and is at its midway point. Its not exactly "brand new." Brand new is one or two episodes. I think the show's been on long enough for people to choose their waifu.
Especially with the Ryuko cosplayer. She's one brave soul.
Probably the first Gipsy Danger cosplay I've seen. Warms my heart to see Pacific Rim get some love in the country that inspired it.
Yeah, look at the other skyscrapers. No lights on inside them. Place is a ghost town.
These guys are the closest.
I can see it replacing Soul Eater or Sword Art Online when they are finished, which should be around the end of February or beginning of March. (Blue Exorcist will be replacing one of those as well) Toonami and Funi have been synchronizing really well lately, what with grabbing Space Dandy and having it premiere…
*Looks the movie up*
What is this GLORIOUS mountain of cheese and why isn't it better known?!
I love how, in interviews, if someone says something related to Tolkien, he'll bring out a really obscure factoid about a really obscure figure or event from the Silmarillion. His geekery knows no bounds. I wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't already made up a history for his character along with a family tree that…
Same here. Everyone else was busy watching the movie and there I was letting out one huge squee at random eyepatch guy.
