I respect the dude. He's talented and when he's cast in the right role, he's usually very good. He generally does very good at (to use TV Tropes terms) "cloudcoockoolanders" and "Bunny-Eared Lawyers". Generic JRPG Hero types aren't what he usually does. Still, it's just a promo video and we don't see much of the

That and it was a quicky promo video they made, so the VAs probably didn't put in as much effort as they normally would with a full script.

Also, I usually associate Todd Haberkorn's voice with quirkier characters like Ling Yao and Death the Kid, so it's a bit off hearing him play a main hero.

He's also obviously the one who will claim the Iron Throne in the end.

I don't deny that it's probably very sturdy. Grainy plastic just looks kinda cheap to my eyes.

True, but there's better ways of doing matte without going too glossy.

The plastic looks cheap, at least in these pictures. I'm sure the plastic isn't cheap, but it kind of looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff. The Xbone looks like a handcrafted luxury item in comparison.

My guess is Kiefer plays Ishmael, who, when he takes off the bandages, is revealed to be another clone of Snake. Why? Because the video only identified him as "Snake" with no prefixes. So, the video is right, he is playing Snake, but not the ones we know. I don't think he's Naked/Big Boss or Solid. He might be Solidus

Yeah, especially since Ishmael's head is covered up in bandages. Once the bandages come off, we'll see his face is Snake's.

That's what I'm thinking. Kiefer is a Snake, but he's not THE Snake. For example, the video only says that his role is "Snake". Not Solid, Naked, Liquid or Solidus. Just Snake.

Heh, Freudian slip there. "Haven't red the books" rather than "Haven't read the books." Very appropriate, though. Blame it on it being the wee hours of the morning and shellshock from the episode.

I haven't red the books, but I knew it was coming, because internet. It still left my jaw hanging. When the Frey son closed the doors and the band started playing "The Rains of Castamere", my heart sank. And the whole event....holy shit, indeed. The silence during the credits was incredibly, eerily appropriate.

Yeah, plus the mom-jeans Sansa has on is nowhere close to what girls her age wore in the late 90s.

Arya is probably the closest. She looks exactly like a tomboy you'd see on Nickelodeon circa 1993-1995. Brienne could be from any decade, really. Sansa is an anachronistic mess with hair and clothes from the really early 90s, with stickers from the late 90s.

Yeah, I was in high school in the late 90s, early 00s as well. Basically, take anyone from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and you have a pretty good idea of how people dressed in the late 90s. Which really isn't all that different from what people wear today, if you think about it, minus the super-baggy jeans(for guys) and

Just noticed another anachronism. Sansa has Backstreet Boys and N'Sync stickers on her binder, which indicates late 90s, but her hair and high-waisted mom-jeans indicate early-to-mid 90s. High-school girls most certainly did not wear mom-jeans in the late 90s.

/I know way too much about the intricacies of 90s

Haha, nice!

No Hodor?

Hodor.

Nah, GoT takes itself pretty damn seriously. The plot and characters are the most important thing. Most of the fun comes from watching the characters and their personalities and agendas interact and play off each other. It's exactly what the title says. "A "game" with multiple masters, pawns, "masters" who are

Actually to me it sounds almost exactly like his English voice.

Tyrion is the one I really wanted to hear. I wanted to see if the VA captured Tyrion's swagger and humanity just right.
