I embraced the dark circles under my eyes from a young age and went into IT and Programming. Now I work with co-workers who all have the dark circles under their eyes, apathy in their hearts and the cutting sarcasm to break down the strongest middle managers.... my people!

Nice! I’m going to have to look into that. It’s always good to cover your @ss when renting, I have dealt with too many sketchy landlords who will try and wring every dollar out of you when you move.

Picked up Witcher 3 on Steam when it was $30 about a month ago. Will probably be playing a ton of that and switching to Helldivers when a few other friends with it pop up on Steam. I’m still playing Rocket League almost daily as well as it’s a quick game to play a round or two while waiting for friends to queue up for

My buddy has those wings and I’m pretty sure it was because he pre-ordered Diablo 3 originally. Not sure if there is any alternative way to get them or it was a one time deal.

I cut my cable TV about six years ago. I would of cut it even sooner, but in Juneau, Alaska our cable TV (GCI Communications) didn’t allow you to just get a cable modem unless you had a business license until about six years ago. I built a server/HTPC that’s always on and plugged directly into my TV. So now all my old

I picked up a kill-a-watt almost a decade ago and it saved me on so many roommate arguments in my 20’s. It’s also handy to get a rough idea of how much power my entertainment system or computer system is pulling. I had a roommate decide to start abritrily charging me $30 off the top of the electrical bill each month

I was really curious about these “computer desks” I’ve always built my own desktops so putting parts in there wouldn’t be too difficult. Problem is it looks kind of small for a desk.

Classic Microsoft, I can only hope they try to bring back “Live! for windows” again in yet another hollow bid to try and woo pc gamers while destroying all the great things about PC gaming. Hey, who wants to pay an annual fee for the right to play multiplayer games on their PC? Microsoft’s history of trying to wedge

I like the general idea, but since this would be in my office I’m thinking whiteboard front instead, and maybe a small half height book shelf below it to help hide the power and ethernet cables. Besides that, not a half bad idea.

My solution to this problem was simple, be too poor to afford a home. I live in a dumpy apartment building that smells like a really old smoking room at a Motel 6.

I might be weird, but very, very hot tea has always worked if I managed to eat a bit more wasabi on my sushi then I expected. I was once told it's because the oils can't coagulate on your tongue and are washed down with the hot tea. It's also entirely possible I've been tricked by the placebo effect and suggestion.

I've got Steam set up on my HTPC in the living room and 4 old wireless Xbox360 controllers connected to it. I really wish there was a way similar to the consoles where a friend playing could log in as a guest with their account so while playing "couch co-op" games they get achievements and have access to their saves

Yeah, I kinda wish my microwave had an internet connection and a bar code reader. Just swipe the product and it sets the time automatically according to the website’s database. Arduino people, you have a new goal!

I used to work for a beer distributor in Alaska that dealt with many of the national brands. Most beer has the same thing, although to make it more confusing the string of numbers is usually longer and all the stuff at the beginning is just for what plant it was bottled at and what batch it was the last 3 digits

When I was in school for programming I bought two of the MS wired natural keyboards and wore them both out over about 10 years of use. I ended up going back to a standard mechanical keyboard, but there are days when I do nothing but code where I really miss the natural keyboards.

Just do what the rest of us do and convert your box wine bags into a camelback system. #AlcoholicOnTheGo

I live in Juneau, AK and I've had to do this twice with landlords. One claimed I'd stolen all his furniture from his house. When I moved into it the only thing in the house was a giant cable spool that had been cut down to act as a coffee table and a few dishes that were in a single cupboard in the kitchen. The

Yeah, I'm thinking football and hockey pads, wonder how expensive it would be to scale this up to fit larger items...

I got a scale that measures body fat % as well. I had been doing lots of cardio to lose weight, mainly riding my bicycle twice a day for 45min @ 20mph and when I cut it down to once a day of 60min @ 20mph I added some strength training with weights. During that time my weight loss totally slowed and then plateaued,
