I live on top a 13 story building that overlooks the Gasteneau Channel in Juneau, Alaska with a Myfi card in it it now uploads images to my webserver that it takes every 15 minutes so it's kind of a low tech static web cam. This might just be the kick in the pants I need to start messing around with LED's again. I've got a couple of old lamps from the 1950's that I absolutely love the design of. @Chispea: I've done most of those tricks, but it would be a lot more handy if that was an option baked into iOS. Also I'd love to have it display upcoming meetings, recent missed calls/txts.

@rkinne01: That's pretty similar to what I do, but I use the Sharpie Oil Markers to mark the ends of my power cords that plug into the strip.

Sweeeeeeet!
