Yeah... Not understanding something doesn’t make it stupid. Speedrunners likely spend 100x more time in a game than those who would 100% it, and understand the mechanics down to the coding level. I don’t do it, I don’t have the patience for it, but it’s always fun to see how someone backflips through a wall that skips

I’d rather spend dozens of real-time hours lurking around Lake Hylia to take advantage of awesome lighting for pictures of horses and Farosh than actually get on with the storyline. :)

I have never and will never understand why people don’t understand speedrunning. It’s literally taking something you love, and making a puzzle out of it. And then there’s other people who are doing the same, and you egg them on and they egg you on and see who can figure out the next great way to tackle the puzzle.
