I can see why he was distracted
Stranger Things is great. I knew I was in for a treat when I heard the synths during the opening credits sequence. 80's-tastic!
Gotcha.
That’s playing pretty fast and lose with the definition of “joke”. It reads more like “error”.
I pretty sure McCarthy isn’t considered to be a sci-fi author, by anyone who has actually read his work.
What? No Jared’s jacket from last week’s episode? Seriously missing a marketing op here HBO.
I got to meet the man, when I was a kid. He came to my hometown of Escanaba, MI, to sign autographs at our local Ponderosa. I still have the autographed picture, some 30-odd years later. He was one of the all-time greats.
I’m the second one. Had a ‘90 LX (V6) with the manual. If ever see another one in halfway decent shape I will be buying it. I loved that car. I sold it to my girlfriend’s (now wife’s) little cousin hoping he would take care of it. He promptly totaled it a week later. I’m tearing up just thinking about it.
Yup. My dog’s sweaty foot pads smell strikingly similar to Frito™ brand corn chips.
Very laid back breed, unless they see something worth chasing. All bets are off then. Enormous prey drive.
We have a martingale collar for our greyhound/foxhound mix. It’s the only type he hasn’t been able to slip out of when he gets bunny/squirrel fever.
My Corolla’s passenger side Takata airbag.
1990 Ford Probe LX. I wish I had a time machine. I’d go back and buy another.
Ukranian Pettins’ Flooferpupple.
Thanks for the info. It is what I assumed, but the reassurance is nice. Also, random chunks of fried chicken are the worst. Just pulled a drumette out of my dog’s mouth last night.
I have a question about chewed up gum on the sidewalk. My dog will eat anything that smells even remotely like food while we are out walking. Is chewed up gum that someone spit out on the sidewalk (gross.) still dangerous to a canine? Or is the xylitol removed by saliva during the action of chewing the gum?
Luckily, it looks like the movie will be portray character before they were Liefeld-ization, so we need not worry. Sorry Acme Pouch & Tiny Boot Inc., maybe there will be a Youngblood movie some day and you’ll hit your big payday.
I feel just the opposite. I think the crappy artwork that went along with that era of the books (late New Mutants/Early X-Force) completely ruined them for me. I’ll take me some Bill Sienkiewicz era New Mutants over that Liefeld Garbage any day.
Currently rocking the Merritt & O’Keefe electric range that came with the house we bought a few years ago. In the basement we found the manual and reciept from when the previous owners purchased it... in 1965. That stove is 50 years old and still works just fine. I wish manufacturers could still build affordable…
