I definitely see how the racetrack scenes, like the one that opens the film, could be disorienting. I'll note that most of the picture isn't quite like that, although the color saturation is always very high.

It is super. But I'm entirely in the tank for Les Soeurs Wachoski, so YMMV.

MCU films are awfully blue, although it doesn't seem that way because DCU films are way bluer.

Brace for it!

We use Blue Apron, although we first tried it off the recommendation of a real-life friend.

That's certainly the strategy of the House bill. Essentially it will make the insurance industry (at least on the individual market) a old-time bucket shop.

I liked it a lot (only partly because I was surprised to see Julie Delpy's boobs on basic cable), but it was several years ago. I hated The Rules of Attraction, though.

The last season or two were really funny and surreal. Then when it went into syndication I decided to watch from the beginning and it was almost entirely conventional. So I stopped.

They should call their senators.

Fuck y'all, the Olympics are fantastic. NBC's Rio coverage wasn't as good as it usually is, but if you watch something other than the main NBC feed you see all sorts of cool sports. They pay attention to the Americans, but not exclusively. I'm excited, except that I don't have cable anymore.

I still miss that horse jumping coverage.

Has been true for well over a decade. It isn't going to stop people bitching about it, though.

No, it isn't.

It's not really true, though. If all you watch is the prime time coverage on the main channel, sure.

Ok.

I'll go to the mat for Planes: Fire & Rescue. It's not a good movie, certainly. The characters are barely even one-dimensional. But the last half is a very good action/disaster movie that effectively maintains tension and suspense through 40 minutes, ramping up and down effectively so you neither burn out (ha ha) or

@lord_andre:disqus must be on his coffee break.

It's interesting in that I think the lush design work of Cars justifies a creaky plot, but the lush design work of The Good Dinosaur don't justify shit.

It's Inside Out.
