Thank you! I thought I was going to have to say it.

Especially her walk back to the diner. It seemed so put on.
I don't know if this is still true, but back in the '90's anyone discussing Twin Peaks online talked about The Prisoner all the time. In fact, there are several homages — The Prisoner is one of the pole stars of the original series (along with the film Laura).
Maybe, but wasn't that Ray at the Roadhouse waving to Shelly? I assume she is his connection to get the information Evil Dale was looking for.
I swear all the fucking time, but I'm a transplant.
That's silly.
Yeah, I think this is right. Evil Dale mentioned at some point (maybe to Daria?) that the Lodge was going to try to pull him back in the next day, but he had a plan to avoid it. So my understanding is that when Evil Dale left the Lodge in the final episode of S2, it was always meant to be a 25-year-trip, at which…
Yeah, I somehow thought it was 9 episodes. I'm more willing to allow Lynch his indulgence with Dougie now that I know we're not already halfway though.
There were a couple other guys that popped up from time to time in the original show.
I certainly hope Bobby is what he seems to be. And it's possible — his road to juvenile delinquency started when Laura pressured him to deal drugs so she would have a connection. But I agree the jury's still out.
Cole is more world-weary, but also hearing-aid technology has advanced tremendously in 25 years.
I think the trick Mike mentioned to Coop was that Evil Dale pointed him at Dougie rather than himself.
That was my thought as well - Bryson is reminding Cole he has a history of falling in with younger women, not necessarily to their benefit. (Of course we only ever saw it once, but he's lived a whole life outside the few days he spent in Twin Peaks.) But at the same time as Bryson brings it up, she also trusts him not…
That sounds like a fun format.
Members of Congress are not subject to impeachment.
Nah, both are solid.
He's just such an asshole!
Reluctant upvote.
I know you're joking, but it's worth noting that the Manchester bomber was apparently a native UK subject who (I believe) never met any foreign terrorists in person.
I was at a taping in D.C. once for a politics tournament. (Ari Fleischer, who is evil but smart, steamrolled news anchors Ashleigh Banfield, who is moderately smart but unfortunately Canadian, and Aaron Brown, who was Blitzer levels of dumb.) Of course they made a big deal of telling us to keep our mouths shut.
