@TheCrudMan: Haha yes, I think about this every time this conversation comes up.

@FistBump: There is a problem with how you provided a majestic description of our modern times, yet compiled their entire existence to "body paint, loin cloth, and pointy stick." Yikes.

Oh wow Microsoft, so you see Google sewing peoples eyes partially closed and you think "Oh haiii, lets do that too!" Wow how innovative NOT! Get your own surgical procedure, jerks!

@IceMetalPunk: There could just as easily be a toggle gesture, which they dont need to mention in the patent.

@Dauthi: Cool, thanks. Yeah, it looks like they you mPayy, which is an online payment system that is only charging a penny on the dollar. Thats really awesome. I wonder if writing a check is actually more cost effective. If mPayy does everything electronically (electronic transfer direct to the charity's account)

I have an iPhone 3GS, and I keep my phone on Edge 99.9999% of the time. Longer battery life means more to me than speed. Usually just use the phone for e-mail and games, and neither of those are hampered by Edge.

Question: How is this more efficient than donating directly to a charity?

@espinha: Lets clarify something: Google is a for-profit multinational corporation who generates profits by selling access to the users of their "free" and/or "open source' software.

@erichg14: Yeah that pisses me off too. One stupid "trick" i use to see when the last message was received is by going back to the main messages window that list all your active threads. It will put an additional timestamp there that doesn't necessarily show up in the latest thread.

@FriarNurgle: Syncing multiple folders is the same on iTunes PC/Mac. You just create a folder on your computer, then add multiple folders inside of that, with your pictures. Then select that folder in iTunes to be synced to the phone.

I have had 100% uptime with iTunes syncing, maybe you should visit an Apple store. I also have a 5 year old Macbook that does not take long to sync, even considering I purchase a lot of content right on the iPhone which then gets transferred to the MB during backup.

@Azu-nyan: looks like possibly an audio or video system wired right into his bathroom light fixtures for power.

@trs: hahaha! Nice, but the .01% that the "kills 99.99% of germs" misses would likely apply to a 34,000 year old bacteria if it applies to anything at all! The alcohol will just make it stronger.

@jnemesh: There are 26 stakeholders in MPEGLA, also including Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, LG, Sharp, etc etc etc. Thus the consortium was created.

@xdozex: Just an FYI, the amount of video available in h.264 on the Web is over 50%, so your claim is questionable.

Got the Seagate FreeAgentGO 1.5tb over christmas for $145 and I thought that was a good price. Lovin the drive, have a 200GB devoted superduper partition for my macbook, a 200gb ExFat partition for the PC, and the rest in Mac OX extended journaled for general stuffs. Not fast, but I enjoy having a small drive with no

@A7: I'm not sure as to the particular technical reasoning, but yeah, it wasnt designed to do that. My suspicion is that the iPhone on verizon will launch with a CDMA revision which has already been speculated to exist at Verizon, which will allow for simultaneous voice+data. Probably one of the major features

@ImSpartacus: Google TV isnt good, is possibly the answer.

We hear you, Bill.

@Goblin: Walled-garden!!!!!!!
