Yeah the difference in quality between those two specials is night and day. That 2nd Chappelle special is him in top form.

Ugh I can just picture the board meeting where some marketing exec is like "We need to make R-Rated movies. Look at how successful Fox is right now. It definitely has nothing to do with good casting and story. Kids just want violence and language."
Watched Deep in the Heart of Texas last night and it was much better than the Age of Spin. Hilarious from start to finish. Really shows how great of a story teller he is.
I thought her last HBO special was pretty funny although I don't remember any bits from it so I guess it was forgettable. She definitely excels in sketch comedy more than stand up.
Personal reasons?!? Its directly related because it was a recent netflix comedy special from a big time comedian I'm a fan of…just like Chapelle.
Yeah with that bit and also when he was talking about his wife's gay friend I feel like he dug himself in a hole with the audience but used all his skill to get out. As a result its not the funniest bit he's done but I was a little worried I was about to see some awkward stuff and that thankfully didn't happen.
I haven't watched that one yet. I'm not a big Burr fan. I think he's funny but his angry delivery is kind of grating to me.
As long as these are better than that awful Amy Schumer special I'm happy. That was disappointing.
This show needs to be put out of its misery. I feel like Adam Driver is just slumming it at this point.
She's out of his league hotness wise but she was also a total mess of a person in the first season so its plausible that she would go for someone who is genuinely nice to her and doesn't judge her for her flaws even though he's not as attractive as her. And when he's not being awkward he's funny. So that helps.
I never knew about Waffle House until I moved to the south but damn do I love it now. Those hashbrowns can't be beat.
Um does that mean heart attack or something else? Apparently AV Club is now a medical journal.
You mean to tell me Nelly didn't hold the top two spots on the charts when he released his 2005 classic albums Sweat and Suit?!?! I'm shocked.
The previous solo movies are garbage so you're not missing anything. Also why I didn't care at all about this one but apparently it's worth seeing.
Honestly the trailer didn't get me excited at all but if Dowd gave a superhero movie an A- I'll probably think its an A+++++.
Only if its the new Calendar Man that ages with the seasons and sheds his skin once a year.
In all seriousness how about Andy Serkis in a mo cap suit playing Clayface or Killer Croc. Or him not wearing a mo cap suit playing Scarecrow.
His Planet of the Apes movies are really good. Excited to see what he can with Batman. Just hope Zak Snyder has no say in this.
I used to love DVD commentaries. Couldn't tell you last time I listened to one though. I'd probably still listen to some if Netflix had them on their shows though.
It was actually good. I had it twice. People seem to be making it out like it was some abomination but it was just a thin piece of fried chicken with lettuce, tomato, and cheese on top just folded to look like a taco. Pretty normal by fast food standards.
