You'll find everything that came before it to be much less country/americana so set your expectations accordingly. All their stuff is good though.

Hazards of Love is my favorite album of theirs. That ridiculous over the top concept album is what got me into the band. I'm pretty sure we are in the minority though as I think most Decemberists fans like that the least.
