I feel like she needs to "Daenerys up" her title a bit for this occasion. Queen Elizabeth II, Mother of Corgis, Khaleesi of the great British Isles, Master of waving politely.

He's more subtle in his sleeziness in The Wire though.

He's good at playing a sleeze bag. I don't know if he has range beyond that but I'd like to find out.

Tom Hardy and Jared Leto are really really good actors. That would not be meh casting. Gillan is also pretty awesome though so either way we win if it was one of those three.

Oh cool thanks. I will have to do that.

Correct I also haven't heard of that.

Oh Jesus that is the first time I've seen a picture of him. That bear is the thing of nightmares.

Bjork is basically a human modern art exhibit so this makes sense.

It is a french show that airs on a channel I don't get. That is why I haven't heard of it. And I don't read every damn thing on the site.

Ok good. I watch too much TV and read AV Club everyday and I think they just made up that show.

Am I the only one who has never heard of The Returned?

Don't get me wrong following source material isn't necessarily a good thing but in this specific case following the books in a general sense allows the show to actually feel like a plan exists which is always a good thing (and extremely rare in TV). There are so many shows that could have benefited from that. *cough*

Except Rome lasted a whole 2 seasons instead of becoming a pop culture juggernaut like Game Of Thrones. So no, Rome was not "as effective in drawing in an audience in as one stand out character."

Yeah I like how they did that although I prefer the remix tracks in every case.

They should settle out of court and just give her a $3 refund.

The sole fact that the show even kind of follows the books is in itself a novel thing in TV and another reason it should be held in high regard. Just look at Dexter and True Blood. They were both adapted from book series.

Seriously. What an elitist comment. No other show in history has used such a massive ensemble of actors and proven they can be as effective in drawing in an audience in as one stand out character. On top of that, the show has consistantly subverted expectations by not following TV cliches in regard to when it

I hoping they use Paul Wight aka The Big Show aka The Giant. And every episode has him choke slamming a Lannister through a table.

He did say he wouldn't be weak and an actual mountain is certainly not weak so that's the best theory so far.

Great finale. One thing I'm curious about is what is going to happen to The Mountain? What did that crazy doctor mean when he said he would be different? Is that guy Dr. Frankenstein?
