Germain is the king of bad takes.

I wish there were more car articles (reviews, announcements, deep dives into interesting new features/tech on cars, comparison tests, etc) and less “ELON MUSK TWEETED A THING” or “SOMETHING SOMETHING TESLA” for clicks.

It’s a functional hood vent! Can’t you see the genius in it?!?! Panel gaps are a feature.

You expect them to make a big stupid ugly piece of shit like this PRACTICAL with REAL ENGINEERING? Come on now. As long as it makes fart noises and does some stupid marketing shit, Elon-stans will declare this vehicle the death of all other pickups.

This was exactly my problem too. I had to avoid spoilers all work day, and Gizmodo was one of the worst by heavily implying spoilers in their headlines, and now I can watch them spoiler free.

“Thanks for the access” tweets is a great way to put it. I don’t understand why Gizmodo continues to post them though in aggregate. Who enjoys these? Is it just to drive page clicks?

It’s almost like you’re asking for more TLJ (unexpected storylines and breaking preconceived notions) and Mandalorian (western style for much of it) and less TFA/RoS/Obi-Wan (generic SW stuff). And if you are... then I agree.

He is by far the most easily ignored when he has positive reactions (and even reviews). I’m sure he is nice and all of that but I don’t think he’s capable of being critical.

I've seen a couple in the Chicago burbs. They look... Fine. The Supra is far more interesting.

You mean the halo loses it’s effectiveness when the figurehead is a total douchenozzle?

LOL I love this “logic”. Historically the previous administration strongly influences the following administration’s economic successes or failures. Clinton benefited from Bush Sr’s tax increases, Trump benefited from everything Obama put in place, and Biden is suffering from Trump’s tax cuts for the rich and horrible

2018 Audi S5 Sportback - paid off.

Only way this goes wrong is if execs try to force their input. Hopefully after recent successes (Andor/Mandalorian) compared to failures (Rise of Skywalker), they should know better than to interfere.

I’m totally okay dismissing women using some pretty classic sexism around sports.

Being successful at a sport does not qualify you to talk about larger issues in that sport. Athletic ability does not equate to the cognitive ability to understand ideas and concepts. Sure, she has personal experience for what it took for her to get there, but “the sport is masculine” and “not normal of a feminine

If this is a legit question - it only looks good when it’s completely clean. Otherwise it picks up fingerprints and dust immediately and looks horrible and cheap.

Instant Pot’s problem was they didn’t innovate, didn’t branch into new products, and expected the same rate of growth even as the market became saturated.

It’s why I’ve ruled out BMW and Mercedes (and probably Audi when they refresh the A4/A5) from my next purchase... I don’t want all touchscreen. Ironically Cadillac went from the derided all capacitive touch interior to big screens and lots of buttons, so it’s near the top of the list.

It’s easy: Wireless android auto/carplay, keep physical buttons for the important stuff (volume, all climate controls), a touchscreen (because that’s what carplay/android auto are designed for), physical buttons on the steering wheel, a dashboard display separate from the center display.

I mean I will give GM credit, they tried with Cadillac and Buick to make wagons cool in the US. VW tried the Jetta wagon. None sold well enough to stick around. :(
