Instant Pot’s problem was they didn’t innovate, didn’t branch into new products, and expected the same rate of growth even as the market became saturated.

It’s why I’ve ruled out BMW and Mercedes (and probably Audi when they refresh the A4/A5) from my next purchase... I don’t want all touchscreen. Ironically Cadillac went from the derided all capacitive touch interior to big screens and lots of buttons, so it’s near the top of the list.

It’s easy: Wireless android auto/carplay, keep physical buttons for the important stuff (volume, all climate controls), a touchscreen (because that’s what carplay/android auto are designed for), physical buttons on the steering wheel, a dashboard display separate from the center display.

I mean I will give GM credit, they tried with Cadillac and Buick to make wagons cool in the US. VW tried the Jetta wagon. None sold well enough to stick around. :(

It’s because nobody bought the previous ones! But yeah I get it. Options are slim without spending a ton of money.

All of my hatred is rational.

I love that we’re spending public resources to find a bunch of billionaires stuck on the bottom of the ocean due to their own arrogance and neglect for safety. If any of them survive, they should get a huge bill for the rescue.

Florida really doesn’t want anyone to live there or visit.

I’d get something cool like that if the roads in Chicago weren’t absolute trash. I’ll probably end up with a CT5-V AWD or something for the magnetic ride control and forego a manual due to traffic.

I like the new SL too, but if you want a manual, I have to wonder why you don’t just get a Cayman or Boxster?

If only there were $80k sports cars out there with manuals...

I was being facetious. Even with all of the announcements, it was underwhelming.

It’s amazing how we all understand those terms already when it was JUST invented!

How dare you not get excited for a $3500 mixed reality headset you control WITH YOUR EYES and some mild updates to some other shit. Prepare to see a thousand articles everywhere about all of these things.

Maybe I’m blind but how do you write an entire article based on a single tweet and not include the date of the presentation referenced?

This really makes me feel tons of sympathy for the dealers and I’m super glad they have such strong protections across the US.

Every company I’ve ever worked with or for exclusively uses Microsoft.

Literally everything I’ve read about the 2024 models includes an interior update. Why do you say that’s not happening? What is your source?

The 2024 refresh addresses a lot of the interior complaints (just look at the new XT4 interior for how the new CT4/CT5 interior will look), but what drives me mad is that magnetic ride control is removed when you add AWD to the CT4-V. As a single guy, I’d prefer the smaller car, but the magnetic ride control might

I have the exact same sentiment. Worst mechanic they adopted in BotW, and killed my enjoyment of the game.
