Get out of here with facts and logic about how luxury options are priced! We need OUTRAGE over $600 leather air vents on a $150k car.

This could be said about almost all Jeep Wranglers. One of my coworkers spent $45k on a brand new one, and getting in all I could think of was a plastic interior from a sub-$20k Kia.
As Bradley already responded, all of those cars get really expensive once you add options. If I’m buying a luxury sports sedan, I want the luxury: nice seats, heated/cooled seats, upgraded audio, adaptive dampers, etc. My S5 Sportback was $65k, and it still doesn’t have every feature the TLX does.
Agreed. Un-vaccinated people were waiting for vague stuff like this so they could brag about lying about being vaccinated to go mask-less (and likely continue their conspiracies about how it was never serious to begin with).
SOME brands care. BMW & Audi dealers vary greatly in the quality of service you get, but I think that can be based on a lot of factors. For example, my local Audi dealer has received a ton of complaints about their sales manager (as a reason why people refuse to buy a car there), but they still sell a ton of cars due…
For all the moaning on here about supercars and M cars and whatever else losing manual transmissions, there’s a glaring lack of earlier versions of those cars that did offer manuals on this list. Really makes you think!
The weird part is that there’s a Motor Trend TV channel and even THAT won’t air this show.
I get that... But those things also make the car worse as a daily driver. Less comfortable, noisier, etc.
Unless you’re buying new. If used car prices are up, and new cars still have incentives and stuff, you come out ahead.
Too old, I’m sure.
Why would you want to run it against the CLA-35/45? Those cars are significantly smaller (10" shorter!), and a more reasonable comparison would be the C43 AMG in terms of price and E53 AMG in terms of size (it’s almost the same length as the E53).
GET OUT OF HERE WITH FACTS AND NUMBERS. They have no place in internet arguments!
I keep getting enticed by the M3/M4, but then remind myself that the sacrifices in comfort are not worth the increase in speed/power I’ll never use. I have a 2018 S5, and that’s as much horsepower as I’ll ever need (maybe even more than I need?), so cars from here on out will likely be in the 300-360hp range. Paying…
The dealer experience alone is worth the price difference.
A twin turbo V6 with 350+ hp will be more than enough. If it’s not, then you’re driving on tracks and probably wouldn’t be buying a TLX Type S for that in the first place.
Maybe minimal amount of screen real estate, but each of those vents in the middle has an additional LCD on it.
Agreed. It would’ve been perfect in the A3/S3/RS3. I’m still disappointed we’re not getting the new S3 hatch in the US (sedan only :( ), but an update to this interior would’ve been amazing on that car.
Here’s a secret: If you just order fries, it’s a dice roll if your fries are fresh or 5 minutes+ old.
Kopps is delicious but a million times less convenient (busy, pain in the ass to get food)... so Culvers generally won out for me. I’m lazy and like drive thru, plus the variety helps.
The Batwing is inferior by comparison. No competition between the two... The Batmobile is my favorite build and yet I have little interest in getting the Batwing.
