Their infotainment controllers are the worst. They didn’t even have Android Auto until 2020! (And even then only on a few vehicles.) The remote start function built into the key is locked behind a paywall monthly subscription service. WHAT THE HELL LEXUS.

No one cares about Lexus’s sedans and coupes because Lexus doesn’t even care about them. Other than the LC500, everything else has languished or been cancelled. The IS “redesign” was merely a mild refresh, despite being nearly the same car since 2013. This is Nissan/Infiniti levels of neglect, and took them from

How dare you factor in practicality! Next you’re going to tell me reliability matters. FOOL.

Have you seen either of these cars in person? They definitely stand out among BMWs and Audis and Mercedes. Then again, I’m in the Chicago area, so maybe I’m just tired of seeing them everywhere.

I had an ATS with the mag dampers and it was the best handling car of the competition by a long shot. Too bad the interior was so mediocre.

Brands are always going to die when you completely ignore them. Fiat hasn’t gotten a new car in years, and the 500 (and 500X) haven’t been updated in forever. Alfa still only has two vehicles (the 4C doesn’t sell enough to count). Chrysler and Dodge have almost no products, and the only real updated one is the

Wanda and Vision are frequently put on ice in the movies because they’re too powerful not to. Same reason Captain Marvel showed up late to the Thanos fight. Captain America and Winter Soldier are pretty damn useless next to omega level mutants and gods.

I mean if we’re venturing to topics off of burgers: Culver’s Pork Tenderloin sandwich is the best fast food sandwich out there.

Culvers is much better than the Whopper. Smashed fresh on a flat top when you order it... it’s tough to beat, even if it does get a little greasy when you go for a double.

Peppermint Milano Slices.

I bought a brand new MK6 Golf R, and since it was my only car... I forced myself to learn. Zero experience in a manual car before that.

I do not understand why the media continues to write about the ultra rich in anything but terms of “how the hell does society allow someone to become this rich?” His wealth should not be celebrated, but admonished.

I think complaining about their looks is tired. Everyone complained about the Bangle cars, and yet every modern BMW evolved from them (and honestly hasn’t changed that much). These faces are more aggressive and at least stand out in a crowd of generic luxury sedans, something BMW hasn’t done in a decade.

This is unfortunately my answer too. There’s no AWD sports cars in the sub-$70k range coming out this year, so I’m left getting excited about sport sedans like this, the refreshed G70, and the MK8 Golf R (while lamenting we’re not getting the S3 Sportback here).

Thor Ragnarok should be on every superhero movie list.

Thor Ragnarok should be on every superhero movie list.

Theyre amazing. Easily my favorite american kit kats.

Oh wow! Now if only someone could find the torque it misplaced below 7k RPM....

I think BMW dropping the manual from the 330/340 is pretty indicative of how likely the G70 would’ve failed even if it was with the good engine and good interior.

Something to keep in mind: Good BMW dealers will route existing cars in transit or order you cars and sell you them like they’re on the lot. It all depends on the dealer. Cadillac dealers will do the same - but for performance cars I’ve seen plenty of manuals on the lots (at least here in the Chicago area).

This is not really that surprising. There’s a reason BMW keeps offering manuals in the M3/M4, but not in most of their other models. VW sells a ton of manual GTIs, and I assume that translates to the Golf R as well. It seems take rates on sports cars and high end sport sedans are decent, but pretty much everything
