My main objection to the entire is how stupid the living humans are when it comes to just killing off enough of the dead. Here's my big suggestion: Stop living in forests!!! Avoid the weirdest and spookiest of settings! Live in more easily defended terrain!! find napalm and fire bomb them! How stupid are you?

One thing I know about TV show is that the producers are basically making their own story, regardless of the source material. How detailed and specific they choose to be is entirely their choice. The Red Wedding in the book was far less graphic and horrible, for example.

I gave up on Sons of Anarchy when one of the main characters was stabbed in the back of the head with a large knife. It was so violent that I said to myself, "why am I filling up my free time with scenes of brutal, and stuuupid, death?" It was all so unnecessary and not at all entertaining or interesting.

Someone asked me what I thought.

Exactly, And if you're stolen from, you'd think they have a little more shame about stealing from another.

Mostly middle-upper-class white DC, which has all the crass arrogance of an incompetent ruling class.

You've never met redskins fans. They will talk themselves into any shred of hope. Every time I think the Browns are doomed, I remember Dan Snyder coach and player choices. It could be worse.

Yes, Washington, D.C. If they get anything, it is inspite of their laziness and vastly overestimated intelligence.

Oh shut the hell up. Baltimore stole a team in its prime that won them a Super Bowl within a few years. We lost our team, and were given an expansion team with the old colors. People all over the world have no sympathy for the Raven's sad story.

The constantly repeated ESPN/east-coast narrative of "City of lovable losers who always fall short but are kinda likeable in a provincial, primitive way…like one-eyed puppies adopted from a better-than-average shelter" is so patronizing.

And I'll leave this here: at least our sports statues can be found under non-fiction.

Didn't get to watch it, but I lived through all of the moments described (the shot, the fumble, Jose Mesa, etc etc.). Contrary to what some say, or to what the local media reports, I would actually say that the city has kind of moved on from these events.

"Cleveland literally has nothing." Mike, In the parlance of your shitty, second-rate, loser-ville of green birdshit, wannabe-New York City, "You're in esshole."
