As a Clevelander, I've known many who have led sad, substance abuse-riddled trainwrecks of lives right around here.

In other words, West 6th is the Flats, circa 1995.

For some reason, a tear came to my eye as I read this.

The sad thing is I think the Cubs have as good a chance as anyone of winning a World Series in the next 5-6 years, because that farm system is tremendous right now, and they are making all the right moves in free agency. I'm not even that much of a Cubs fan and this saddens me.
